Brainteaser 3 - the level for applicants
Two fuses of different lengths will both burn for exactly eight minutes. However, the fuses don’t burn at an even rate - for example, after one minute the first fuse might already have burned half its length.
How is it possible, with the help of only the two fuses and a lighter, to measure a period of exactly six minutes?
